Ahopsan Forest Phytoncide Trekking #Phytoncide #CalmMindAndBody #StrengthenImmunity
Introduction
Ahopsan Forest is a hidden forest that remained unrevealed to the public for the past 400 years. Enjoy the phytoncide as you walk through the forest full of bamboo, cypress, and Korean red pine trees.
This place is also known for being the filming site of many movies and dramas, including the drama ‘The King’.
Recovery Point
It takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes to walk through Ahopsan Forest.
The slope is gentle, so it is the perfect place to walk through the forests of bamboo and cypress trees in comfortable shoes and enjoy the phytoncide.
In the spring, you can also purchase the fresh bamboo sprouts that you gather yourself in the bamboo forests at low prices.
Expected Effect

What is phytoncide?

Phytoncide is a natural antibiotic substance that plants produce in order to resist germs and mold, and is usually produced by coniferous trees such as pine trees and cypress trees.
It is good for both mental and physical health, and its main benefits include stress relief, strengthening lung function, controlling blood pressure, and strengthening immunity.

Benefits of bamboo sprouts

Bamboo sprouts contain lots of dietary fibers and potassium, and cooking and eating them can help lower blood pressure, relieve stress, and relieve insomnia.
Visiting Guide
• Visitors in wheel chairs may have some difficulties because there are stairs at the entrance.
• For visitors who have difficulty moving, we recommend taking a slow walk from the entrance to the first bamboo forest, instead of going through the entire course.
